Work Location: Charlotte, NC and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: Responsible for architecting, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions with a focus on reliability, performance, and security for cloud-native architecture, microservices, API design, and distributed systems. Design and lead the modernization strategy to migrate legacy and on-prem microservices to Azure-native cloud platforms. Design a forward-looking AI integration roadmap to embed AI into software delivery pipelines and enhance customer experience. Work closely with solution architects to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions. Partner with product owners to understand the business requirements and provide technical insights for the solutions. Lead a group of developers, ensuring the code quality on the way to production. Develop high quality and high-performance Spring Boot microservices and deploy them to the Kubernetes cloud architecture. Prepare and review technical designs, conduct code reviews, and deliver high-quality architecture. Partner with scrum teams to promote DevOps as a culture driving improvements through CI/CD processes. Integrate the code into a fully automated CI/CD pipeline with the goal to push directly to production. Collaborate with the test automation team to integrate testing strategies and ensure end-to-end quality assurance. Mentor junior developers during projects to ensure continuous improvement. Use of AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, Python, Kafka, and Spark.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Kafka. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.

Job Duties: Responsible for designing, architecting, developing, implementing, and deploying enterprise-scale web applications and cloud solutions across cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and on-premise environments. Build, deploy, and support best-in-class software solutions, implementing application resiliency, scalability, and performance design. Responsible for the design and architecture of the solution, working on AWS cloud-based services including Lambda, CloudWatch, EKS, S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, ELB, and IAM technologies. Involved in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, and testing using Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure and AWS cloud. Develop microservices using .NET Core and serverless APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Deploy resources using CI/CD pipelines, Docker as a containerization tool, and Kubernetes to orchestrate the deployment, scaling, and management of the containers. Migrate legacy SOAP services to REST services and deploy to AWS cloud to rewrite them using RESTful Web API, C#, and AWS services. Create stored procedures required to save or update data into SQL Server database and optimize existing stored procedures for performance improvement. Work on UI enhancements in Angular to implement new features. Implement security best practices for AWS services. Implement unit test cases for new code to maintain code coverage. Use of AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GIT, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.Net, Visual Studio, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, Web Services, Web API, Postman, Octopus Deploy, Swagger, Dynatrace, Jira, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, and Oracle.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 3 years of experience with C#, ASP.Net, Web Services, SQL Server, and either AWS or Azure. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
